We serve
We care for community members without health insurance who live in Summit and Wasatch Counties. Since 2023, clinic encounters have grown 64% (from 13,110 to 21,448) and individual patients served have grown 40% (from 3,018 to 4,208) — a reflection of rising need and sustained community trust.

At the People’s Health Clinic, the people we serve help shape how we serve them. Our patients, team members, and community partners, many of whom share the same lived experiences, are active participants in designing the programs and decisions that affect their care. We actively oppose discrimination in all forms and work to build a clinic where everyone feels valued, supported, and respected. Health inequities are not accidental; they are the result of systems that have long failed the communities we serve. Our programs are built to close those gaps.
History
1999 2022
Founded in 1999 by a group of Park City residents who saw neighbors going without care, PHC began as a mobile clinic operating out of a single van. In 2009, in partnership with Summit County and Intermountain Health, we moved into our permanent home in Round Valley. Since then, we’ve expanded from that single van into a full clinic delivering care across 17 medical disciplines. The need that drove our founding has only grown, and so has the community that makes this work possible.
