The mission
People’s Health Clinic is a volunteer-driven, community supported non-profit clinic providing high quality, no cost healthcare to uninsured residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties in Utah. We are passionate about the service we provide and express our mission in three short but powerful words “Here, We Care.”
We serve
We serve community members with no health insurance who are residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties. During 2023, we provided 13,110 clinic encounters and cared for 3018 individual patients.
Diversity, equity, & inclusion
At the People’s Health Clinic, our diverse patients, team members, and community partners are empowered to shape our programs and operations, ensuring their voices are heard and their agency respected. We are committed to actively combating all forms of discrimination within our organization, fostering an inclusive work environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and respected. Through our programs, we aim to address disparities in health outcomes driven by systemic inequity.
History
1999 2022
Founded in 1999 by a group of concerned citizens, the clinic provided healthcare from a mobile van. In 2009, in partnership with Summit County and Intermountain Health Care, the clinic moved to a permanent home in Round Valley. We are open to serve patients 5 days a week from 8am – 5pm, and extended hours on Tuesdays from 8am – 8pm. The clinic has expanded its services and continues to help the community because there is the need.
