
Dr. Mark Goldfarb is a cardiologist with a longstanding focus on preventive cardiology. He practiced as an interventional cardiologist for 33 years in Nashville, Tennessee, before semi-retiring and relocating to Park City. He completed his cardiology training at Emory University and Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, attended medical school at George Washington University in Washington, DC, and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Goldfarb remains deeply engaged in clinical care and is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving patients alongside the Clinic’s dedicated staff. He also volunteers as a Doctor on the Mountain at Deer Valley every other week, supporting on-mountain medical care.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Goldfarb is an active climate advocate. He has completed former Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project training and regularly gives presentations in Salt Lake City and Park City on the health and community impacts of climate change. He serves on the Board of Utah Physicians for a Healthy Environment and is a member of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
Outside of medicine and advocacy, he enjoys skiing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, pickleball, and golf. He is also a volunteer with the National Ability Center ski program.
