Dr. Jamie Rubin has been a dedicated volunteer pediatrician at the People’s Health Clinic for the past six years and is grateful to be part of its exceptional pediatric team. She is passionate about children’s health and believes every child deserves access to high-quality medical care.
Dr. Rubin coordinates the Clinic’s Reach Out and Read program, which provides books to young patients to encourage early childhood literacy, as well as the Prescription for Play program, which gives LEGO® toys to toddlers to support healthy development through play.
Before joining the People’s Health Clinic, Dr. Rubin practiced general pediatrics and urgent care for more than 15 years in both private practice and urban healthcare settings. Fluent in Spanish, she brings a multicultural perspective to caring for patients and their families.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Spanish Literature from Cornell University before attending Ben-Gurion University in Israel, where she studied medicine with a focus on International Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in Great Neck, New York.
In 2018, Dr. Rubin, her husband, and their three teenagers moved to Park City, where they are proud to be part of the community. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys skiing and hiking with her family and their two dogs.
