Annual Walk & Wine celebrates shared commitment to ensuring everyone has access to quality healthcare

Reported by Park Record Staff, The Park Record –
“The Park City community came together to raise $915,000 for People’s Health Clinic at its annual Walk & Wine fundraiser on Aug. 9 at Stein Eriksen Lodge.
The funds come at a critical moment for the clinic, which said it expects to see a 20% to 25% increase in patients this year, including a growing number of children, as healthcare costs climb and coverage shrinks.
“The people at risk of falling through the cracks of our healthcare system are our neighbors. Your housekeeper. Your landscaper. The construction workers who built your homes. The server who brought you a drink this morning. Our patients make this town run and for 27 years, we have been their medical home,” said Dr. Mairi Leining, CEO of People’s Health Clinic.”
