Krista Clark has owned and operated Wellspring Physical Therapy, a private practice in Midway, Utah, since 2002. Her specialty of orthopedic manual physical therapy and integrative health combines hands-on physical therapy with natural approaches to wellness. She established physical therapy services at People’s Health Clinic in Park City in 2007 and has enjoyed volunteering at the clinic since then.
After undergraduate work at University of Utah, she earned her physical therapy degree at University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1984. She completed the Kaiser Hayward Physical Therapy Residency/Fellowship Program in Advanced Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy in 1989 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to this specialty training, she worked in hospitals in acute care, orthopedic, neurological, medical and cardiac rehabilitation. She has presented at conferences on natural alternatives to long-term non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) use and basic anti-inflammatory diet recommendations. Ms. Clark feels that, as a physical therapist with a hands-on specialty, she is in a position to bridge and bring together many philosophies. Her recreation includes mountain activities – skiing, biking and hiking. She appreciates helping others return to health and discover outdoor fitness and exercise activities they love.
