Phil Bondurant joined the People’s Health Clinic Board in January of 2021. Phil joined the Board of trustees because “I am committed to strengthening the connection between public health and healthcare on the Wasatch back. I see an opportunity to marry the efforts of the health department and People’s Health Clinic and improve outcomes by moving health focused initiatives further upstream for everyone in our community.”
Phil has been with the Summit County Health Department for 7 years. Prior to working in Summit County, he worked for local health departments in Central Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada, where he was born and raised. Phil completed his undergrad work at Southern Utah University. He holds a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental and Occupational Health from UNLV, and a Doctorate of Public Health in Policy and Administration from Walden University.
Phil lives in Heber City with his beautiful wife and three kids. He considers his family his greatest achievement in life and loves to spend time with them. When not watching the kids play sports or attending piano recitals, they are probably in the mountains camping, hunting, fishing, and riding mountain bikes.
